was the glove damaged earlier...slightly..could they of fixed the glove at the start of the midround...yea...did they..no..they waited the entire time and right b4 the bell rang they started to get him his new glove. they knew what they were doing. it wouldnt of made a difference anyway cuz berto won by so much, but the ref could of at least taken a point away for that.
Did Berto's Corner Intentionally Damage the Glove?

Of course they took longer than needed. Berto was in trouble after that knock down. If he hadn't received all that time to recover he would've been stopped. IMO, I think the ref should not have allowed Berto's team to change the glove at that time & moment after a knock down. He should've insisted that they repair it with tape till the end of the round.Comment

You are so melodramatic antagonistic, dude..Its really getting bit too much. Why is everyone looking for this mass conspiracy everywhere. Berto had a tear in the thumb portion of his glove earlier in the fight. About 2-3 rounds previous to the KD.
Now to replace the glove someone from Berto's corner would have to go back and get a new glove. 2-3 rounds doesn't sound like an illogical amount of time for this.
If we are to believe in this conspiracy theory then that would infer that Berto's corner thought he would be KD 2-3 rounds before he was. If you think about it logically you can see it makes no sense.Comment

I'm just pointing out the obvious. Everytime there is a fight we have a huge controversy, even when its a clear outcome, people here will still make it seem like a huge conspiracy or controversy.
Anyway, did Berto's corner take a little longer than they needed to for the glove change, yeah probably. Did they intentionally cut his glove probably not.Comment
