Ricky is the most destructive and accurate body puncher in world boxing.

If he catches that sweet spot with full power, Mayweather will take a knee or at least step back. If he is exceptionally toned and built in muscle then i expect him to take a few, but eventually his body muscles will start to feel the pain.

EVERYBODY can be hurt to the body. If you catch them right. But Ricky Hatton can't hurt Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

The reason why you don't see (or haven't seen) Floyd get hurt to the body is because he makes his opponents pay a high price for trying. He is among the best counterpunchers in the game. As you release your hands for a body shot, you are eating hard stuff upstairs. So they stop throwing. The other reason is his ridiculous conditioning.

as well as hit tech. he sometimes covers his body with his arm if some people notice and cover his chin with the shoulders

Now Floyd is my favorite fighter & i've seen just about all his fights & i would have to say he is most succeptable to the body!! Floyd is really a natural junior welterweight (140-142lbs) & has a pretty slim waste-line . I can't remember which round it was maybe rd 5 of the gatti fight were arturo straffed floyd with a good body shot & floyd backed off with a weird look in his eye. Same for the 8th round of the Judah fight; Zab caught him with a real good body shot that made him step back & take a deep breath!! Even Larry Merchant said "Good body shot from Judah" Those pitty-pat shots Oscar threw to the body on May 5th don't count b/c floyd saw those coming a mile away. I'm going to say it right now CASTILLO QUIT!!! Yeah it was a good bodyshot but Kellerman said it best Castillo came to see what this young kid had & once he figured out it was to much to handle he was going to pack it in!! You could tell from the first rd that Hatton was able to Man-handle Castillo all over the ring. I swear my boy & i was watching the fight & when they went to their corner after the 2nd or 3rd round my boy said "Damn, Castillo's got that Morales look (pacman fights) in his eyes" & I said yep it wouldn't suprise me if he quit!!! Remember folks the eyes never lie!!! Floyd is going to stop hatton anyway so it doesn't matter if he get's hurt or not!!! For all you thinking that Floyd is going to get caught like Castillo wake up!!

Hatton will not land well or hard enough to hurt him to the body. Oscar couldn't hurt him. Floyd blocked most body shots. Floyd hasn't been in his career from a body shot from what I remember. Judah knocked him off balance, and Corley caught him upstairs.

Of course he can. Anyone can get hurt to the body. I dont care who you are - King Kong, Godzilla, The blob - they all can get hurt to the body. Floyd Mayweather included.
