I have seen a lot of his fights and when he gets hit to the body he doesn't really seem to be bothered. Just wondering. I'm looking to hear from the Mayweather experts here. I don't think Hatton packs enough power to wear down Floyd to the body.
Can Floyd be hurt to the body?

well in logical replay, yes anyone can be hurt to the body if the punch is thrown with enough velocity in the right spot but after watching mayweather and seeing how he trains muscles in his stomach that other fighters dont, i find it hard to believe that hatton will even make floyd take a deep breath to the body let alone get a chance to even hit him there.Comment

The reason why you don't see (or haven't seen) Floyd get hurt to the body is because he makes his opponents pay a high price for trying. He is among the best counterpunchers in the game. As you release your hands for a body shot, you are eating hard stuff upstairs. So they stop throwing. The other reason is his ridiculous conditioning.Comment

Yeah I know anyone can be hurt to the body for sure. But that's agood point about his opponents not going to the body becuase of the fear of Floyd's precise counter shots.Comment

Ricky Hatton's the most destructive body puncher we've seen, Mayweather would have to have some severe physical problem to not feel them if they land (and are thrown right)Comment
