    Facts about RJJ and Hopkins!!!

All this talk about RJJ would beat hopkins is dumb!! If this is true then why did RJJ turn him down so many times. There was no reason for RJJ to turn him down. RJJ is no diffrent from Joe Calzaghe and Ricky who build their record by fighting bums. Hopkins fought Winky, DLH, Tito and Tarver and is now looking to fight Calzaghe. Hopkins doesnt duck nobody and wants to fight the best!! he isnt about the money!! Thats what u call a true freakin boxer!! The man is 42 going to 43 and is still kicking ass. Dont compare RJJ to Hopkins. RJJ ducked hopkins and never gave Hopkins a chance to redeem his lost. Lets say RJJ retired undefeated people will ask who he beat??? Your only answer is Toney. Their reply would then be *thats it?* and U would know darn well!! That the answer would be yeah!!

ROY WAS THE SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMP
    HOPKINS WAS THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMP
ROY WANTED 60/40 (MAJORITY GOING TO HIMSELF OF KOURSE)
HOPKINS WANTED 60/40 (MAJORITY GOING TO HIMSELF OF KOURSE)
THE TWO NEVER COULD COME TO AN AGREEMENT (STUBBORN BASTARDS)
ALL WE KNO IS THAT ROY BEAT BERNARD AS YOUNG FOLK, THATS ALL THAT MATTERS, I STILL SAY ROY BEATS HOPKINS TODAY, ITS CALLED

When Roy and Hopkins fought Roy may have won but Hopkins became a much better fighter. Roy didn't want any of hopkins because he was scared. RJJ wanted to protect his record fighting bums!! Roy would have lost the 2nd fight regardless of when this would take place.

I was about to say the same thing. Anyone who says anything else is ******. This fight was so hot after Hopkins beat Tito but Hopkins acted like a damn fool.

Those guys are talking about classic Roy quotes. What about Hopkins? He gave his classic quote after that fight: "there's no way that RJ can get more money then me after the Trinidad fight"? At that time most casual fans didnt even know who Hopkins was. RJ was the #1 fighter in the game, already beat Hopkins, and was on PPV every fight. Until the Tito fight no one came to see Hopkins and he had trouble even getting on cable. After that one win he started demanding more money over a guy who already beat him and was way more popular. It was so ******

Hopkins was not willing to take the biggest purse of his career to fight roy.

You call a close fight an ass beating. Jones only won by like 2 rounds. Thats not an ass beating. An ass beating is a one-sided match like forrest-baldomir, calzaghe-lacy and Kessler-andrade.
