yeah those people come cause they are blinded by patriotism isnt that obvious to you? those same people watch soccer so i mean really come on now you have no chance here. you really think they fly over cause its a good fight? they could care less they are ****** and just want to scream ****** **** in the crowd like mate and governa.

As much as i would like to see a Hatton win im gunner have to go with Mayweather to pick up a points win.I dont see a knockout here, De La Hoya couldnt find the punch at a higher weight so i dont really see Ricky doing it, same goes for PBF though, if Tszyu's big punches didnt stop Hatton i dont think Floyd will do it either.
I just think Mayweather is a master boxer who rarely looses a round.Hatton could apply alot of pressure and make this real close but i dont see PBF loosing 6 or more rounds to anyone at this weight class at the moment.
Floyd will be given a tough test but still pick up a ud. imo. (hope im wrong)Comment

You have got to be the most ignorant wanker on this forum. Americans claim to be all patriotic but you don't see thousands of them travelling to support Jeff Lacy or whoever do you?
There is nothing wrong with FOOTBALL. It is the most popular sport in the WORLD. Also, i'd say that these people pay thousands of pounds to support their fighter rather than go over there to stand in a crowd and sing, which is something they can do at a footie match anyway.

but they dont support their fighter-they support their country. their fighter is predetermined by country that is just plain ******. make up your own mind about who is a good fighter not just because you were born in the same country. thats why americans aren't so annoying when it comes to boxing.Comment

I'm being safe and going Mayweather by UD, but I could see him stopping Hatton. He has bulked up a bit since coming up and should be about the same size as Hatton come fight night. If his right hand holds up, I see Floyd tearing Hatton up pretty damn good.
Also, Satori I love your sig: "brits say mayweather is boring then they go and watch soccer? explain that". That is so damn true that its ridiculous.Comment

I picked Hatton by decision. Mayweather is better than Hatton. He's the favourite. He's supposed to win. Hell if I had to bet my house on this fight I'd put it on Mayweather.
Thing is though upsets do happen, and I think that this is the kind of fight which ends up in an upset. We've seen it before, we'll see it again. And I think we'll see it in December.
Hatton by decision. And if my prediction is correct I would pick Floyd in the rematch.Comment

Hatton by decision. Smart money is on Mayweather but I have a gut feeling that this is simply going to be Hatton's night. I think he may have the more momentum and confidence going in with the completely unexpected early Castillo ko. At the very least, I think his constant smothering pressure will give Mayweather some problems. Yeah, I doubt anyone is going to get knocked out.Last edited by Thunder Lips; 07-30-2007, 05:39 PM.Comment

Mayweather tko 10...
Watch the Chavez fight, it'll be jsut like that ( it was a great fight,) cept that Hatton doesn't have Chavez's chin-- although he is faster-- and Mayweather will pop him coming in all day, Hatton will find air when he tries to hit and hug. The outcome of this fight seems as clear as day for me, I still can't see why people think Hatton could possibly knockout Mayweather.Comment

That just from your gut, or do you think Hatton has the right style?I picked Hatton by decision. Mayweather is better than Hatton. He's the favourite. He's supposed to win. Hell if I had to bet my house on this fight I'd put it on Mayweather.

Hatton doesn't have the kind of stiff jab that one needs to beat Mayweather.Comment
