ricky hatton is boring no body i know likes hatton fights all he does is grab and smother opponents. i don't understand how that excites people. through all that smothering you bareley see clean punches land. you can sometimes see body shots land and theres other times when you can't really tell whats goimg on

One thing Ricky does have that is very underrated is his footwork and head movement. He showcased it perfectly during the first 6 rounds against Urango. The problem is that he usually abandons his boxing style 2 rounds into the fight, prefering to smother and make the fight physical, and often times boring.

Hatton's a good guy though and I wish him the best. I think he gets hated on a little too much but his style isn't exactly crowd pleasing. I hope Floyd like shugging British guys, because I expect him to hug the piss out of Floyd.
