It seems that everyone tries that and the same thing happens everytime...
Floyd either has some trouble in the begining of the fight and wins the last 4/5 rounds, or Floyd wins the first 4/5 rounds and then has some difficulty. I think people need to read into the Delahoya fight more... You have to back Mayweather up with a jab, not a bull rush. Hatton will bull rush Floyd, and this is why he won't win the fight.

Why do you need to turn it into a fight? Because Mayweather is a boxer. If you turn it into a jabbing contest you're going to lose. De La Hoya could get away with it and had some minor success with the jab because he is bigger and much taller than Mayweather. You think Hatton should jab-jab-jab? He'll lose that way. The guys who have had the most success against Mayweather for long periods of time have been the guys who have turned it into a fight, the guys who have performed the worst are the ones that tried to stand off and box. I've long been convinced that Mayweather's weakness lies in negating his strengths which are his boxing ability.

Firstly Hatton fights nothing like Duran, and Mayweather fights nothing like SRL ( at 145, he did at 135...)

And even if they did have similar styles, you can't assume that the outcome would have been the same.

Lacy was the slugger, Joe C was the boxer...
