Sharmba wasnt shot. He lost twice to Tszyu. Big deal. Shot fighters dont beat Ndou, Tackie, or Phillips.

Getting dropped repeatedly and taking a landslide UD is what I call getting shredded to ribbons.

Floyds fighting guys 25+/lbs out of where he started. Only recent guy I remember KO'ing guys that far out of his class was RJj that I can remember atm.

Hatton moves up 1 class and hes got no power. The Collazo thing was Collazo w/one foot off the ground. Luck. You cant be counting lung-punches against a obviously SHOT fighter whos known for having weight issues.

Had enough yet? Want some crumpets w/those lumps???
Lmao, exactly, the collazo knockdown was soft and a flash knockdown at that.

Cotto is fighting Mosely, so just wait it out. If Cotto can get past Mosely and DLH doesn't butt in like the interloper he is, then we'll see Mayweather/Cotto in 08..

A BA in language? It must be from that college above the gas station, yes? Bring it on you ****ing amateur.

Sharmba was and is shot to hell. 35 year old former LWs are rarely near their peak. He barely got past Phillips (who Hatton battered 5 months later, BTW) and everybody beats Ndou and Tackie. The difference between the 2 fights with KT tells a significant story too. You only have to watch him fight to see that he doesn't really want to be in that ring anymore.

I don't give a **** where Floyd started. It doesn't change the fact that he has no real power at 140 or 147 so talk of him stopping Hatton with anything more than a lucky cut is pure fantasy.

You're the one who brought up the Collazo fight, trying to pass off the blatant push as a KD. I agree, the KD in the 1st was pretty lucky. Hatton had no snap in his punches or bounce in his footwork that night. His preparation was ****.

I will have some crumpets, thanks. Plenty of butter.

Ricky won't see the championship rounds.

          Anyway...just read this:

Must be pointed out also that Mayweather is a good few years older than when he fought Castillo, as well as being heavier.
What is being argued here? That Mayweather is alot faster than Hatton?

Whether FMJ's speed is a 10 or a 9 is moot. He is much too fast, skilled and defensively slick for Hatton. BUT, that isn't the key to the fight. If FMJ only had those advantages, it would be possible (albeit remotely) for Ricky to overcome those traits. What makes this fight a near impossibility for Ricky to win is that Mayweather is ALSO the stronger fighter and the better inside fighter.

Better, stronger and faster fighters than Hatton have failed to dent Mayweather. For example, Delahoya (who is STILL Bigger, better, faster and stronger than Ricky).

The fight gets ugly by round six, and Hatton quits by 8 or 9.

            .
Let's pull back the curtain on Floyd's power at 140/147:

            Henry Bruseles - knocked out
DeMarcus Corley - floored three times
Arturo Gatti - Quit in his corner after six
            Sharmba Mitchell- knocked out
Zab Judah - bailed himself out of the impending KO with a nutpunch
Carlos Baldomir - pretty much unknockoutable. Granite Chin.
Oscar Delahoya - pretty much unknockoutable. Granite Chin.

            True Story.

I'm not starting this convo from scratch again with you. Go back and read the previous posts.

TKOs do not = knocked out, FYI.

So why does it stand for

                  Technical Knock Out then?

Its a different type of knockout.

It doesn't matter Ricky would lose to Floyd at any weight.

This is the last I'm going to say about this:

Hatton is going to git shredded to ribbons.
                      McNulty,

Isn't it disingenuous to say this?

Over the past year, Mayweather fought Baldomir and Delahoya. Two guys who are pretty much granite-chinned...no?

In 60+ rounds with Vargas, Shane, TRINIDAD, Sturm and Hopkins, how many times did Oscar get hurt or go down? How many guys south of MW or SMW can knock out Baldomir?

A steroided Shane or Vargas didn't dent Oscar, but you are faulting Floyd for not KO'ing him? Huh?
