Ricky is bigger than Floyd, Zab, Sharmba, etc. Ricky is probably almost as big as Shane.

If all these guys can toil at Welterweight, what is the struggle for Ricky?

Since when does your weight when not training have anything to do with what you are capable in the ring?

Hatton is 5, 6 and has short reach. He is smaller than most welterweights anyway! Even so, yes, he can make some noise at WW but only against certain fighters.

And you must not understand the business. Every opponent is 'hand picked'. I'm sure you dont say the same about Mayweather, yes??
LOL I am the first to say that Gatti wasn't nothing special. I have no idea where you're getting at. What I'm saying is that the same kind of ass kicking that Floyd gave to Arturo, he will replicate for Ricky Hatton. Hatton is up ****'s creek without a paddle. The best he can hope for there is to go the distance like Baldomir. Hatton will look like Katsidis through 6 rounds.

man this is all bull****, everyone automatically counts out ricky hatton like hes some sort of scrub. i like both fighters but hatton is gonna win, and why the **** are you people comparing to Arturo Gatti?! Hatton is at a whole different level then gatti, and mayweather had trouble with inside fighters like castillo and delahoya, and they were both out of their prime, Hatton is at his peak right now and I don't see him losing, you people that compare him to the likes of Gatti and Baldy are complete ignorants.

Hatton is what you call this:

You cannot be Tex Cobb or Mike Piazza and beat a Floyd Mayweather. You need some quickness.

Castillo in his prime, you know the one who fought Mayweather Jr, was a signficantly better fighter than Hatton.

Castillo was out of his prime when Mayweather fought him?

And you are calling others ignorant? Thanks for playing.

Not only that, he also said Oscar de la Hoya was an inside fighter. LMFAO

Oh, and that Floyd had trouble with him, yeah, doubling someone's connect percentage and vastly outlanding them while throwing much less sure equates to "having trouble with"

A corner running in to stop the fight usually denotes that someone is taking a serious ass-kicking with no chance of relief. I'm in agreement with you. This thread is really meaningless because the only people that really thinks Hatton will win probably have never been in a fight or can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Hatton barely won (if you believe he won) against Collazo. His power was null and void at 147 and his hit and hug technique was useless. I can't imagine him hugging Mayweather like that. It's almost comical!!!!
