Ricky will probably beat Floyd, Will over Skill

This is a pretty brave topic to start. You have a point though, and this is one point I've made myself, there have been many examples throughout the history of boxing where the tough brawler imposes his will on the skilled boxer. Hatton could beat Mayweather but Mayweather would still be above him in the p4p rankings because Mayweather is better and will beat more people. Hatton will never be p4p number one, but he will gain legitimacy by beating the guy who is.

I dont agree surly if hatton does beat mayweather (an its a big if) he will be the top p4p no questions

if he beats the best he should be the best right?

Not necessarily. I think that Hatton will beat Floyd in December, just going off the history of the sport. I also think Hatton would lose a rematch, also going off the history of the sport.

will beats skill? didnt this come up in the floyd vs oscar pressers alot? where people said to floyd will beats skill anyday of the week, and floyd said, "well 37 have had the will, and all came up short?"

he said the presser meaning b4 the fight and yes he said 37 have tried 37 have failed, but after the fight he also said the same quote with 38

Also, Floyd won't try to keep Hatton away from him. Ricky will find that Floyd is a better inside fighter than he is. Floyd will carve Ricky up with short , chopping punches inside. Hooks, upperscuts, body shots. Floyd will bust Ricky up on the inside... what will be Hatton's 'Plan B'?

no way hatton beats mayweather. floyd will do exactly the same to hatton as he did to gatti, because hatton is gatti's clone
