If You Don't Think British Fighters Are Overprotected...

It's simple really. American fighters are already in the place where most of the big fights happen, so they can get these fights earlier if they wish. However your typical 20-0-0 british fighter will not be able to cover the ridiculously high costs of travelling across the atlantic and setting up a training camp. Couple this with the fact that american's never fight in britain, and you can see why it is harder for them to get the big fights early in their careers.

Dude, please stop with the silly insults. It's beneath you and beneath us all. Don't be one of those internet tough guys.
Note: If you care to challenge that Ray Hatton quote, I'm game. Loser leaves the forum. DEAL?

"Wrath may be described as inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred and anger. These feelings can manifest as vehement denial of the truth, both to others and in the form of self-denial, impatience with the procedure of law, and the desire to seek revenge outside of the workings of the justice system (such as engaging in vigilantism) and generally wishing to do evil or harm to others. The transgressions borne of vengence are among the most serious, including murder, assault, and in extreme cases, genocide. (See Crimes against humanity.) Wrath is the only sin not necessarily associated with selfishness or self interest (although one can of course be wrathful for selfish reasons, such as jealousy). Dante described vengence as "love of justice perverted to revenge and spite". The wrathful in his Purgatorio were enveloped in blinding smoke."

I'm glad to see yet another balanced thread by Sin about guess who......Ricky Hatton.
Surely it must be time for another attack on Joe Calzaghe?
Hold on Amir Khan, Junior Witter, David Haye or Enzo Maccarinelli are starting to feel left out.
In fact why not start on Gavin Rees, after all he has just won the WBA Light Welter title and obviously got a gift decision!

Listen you Floyd lovers - HE'S NOT INVINCIBLE. Get over it.
Hatton said they weren't ready for Mayweather.
Care to accept that challenge?
