I heard something about them giving Berto extra time to recover from the knockdown.

2 rounds before the KD the referre had Berto's corner cut some hangling material from the thumb part of Berto's glove. This was while Berto was still handidly in conrtol.

So if it was a conspiracy then they thought it well out in advance and must've known that Berto was gonna get hurt later on.

It was fortuitous for Berto but not rigged.
