I've seen every Toney fight, it was a close fight and it could've gone either way, nothing like the Peter II or Jones fights.
Toney was screwed in the 2 Griffen fights, Thadzi fight, Peter 1 and the first draw with Mike McCallum. So in my opinion in his 80 career fights, he lost only twice to Peter II and Jones.
When Toney got lazy he was very beatable, if he busted his his ball like the way Hopkins or Mayweather, I don't think anyone could've beaten him, maybe runners like Sugar Ray or Jones might of still beaten him, Toney did have problem with runners a little.Comment

Agree with you on both Griffin fights and McCallum I.
I had Peter I close covering it in the arena; had Toney wider on TV. I did though have McCallum slightly ahead in the forgotten badassery that was McCallum II. That fight happened today and people would ***** like hell in a "what do you like' scoring hell.Comment

Well some people today ***** about any fight, I had Toney winning McCallum II clearly, so I don't see how you had that one for McCallum.Agree with you on both Griffin fights and McCallum I.

McCallum worked for three minutes every round and outlanded him; Toney fought in bursts. Again, great fight and one of those 'whatcha like" bouts. Hell, even their third fight was good. I can watch those two fight all day.Comment
