i say 140 so hatton will be able to give a better fight.
At What Weight Should Mayweather-Hatton Happen?

I'm curious to know why anyone thinks this fight should be at any weight other than 147. Both guys will come in on the fight of the fight weighing around 144-147, so why have any excuses from either that they had trouble with 140? Both can prepare for the fight without worrying about making weight and that will allow both to be strong when fight night comes. Then, may the best man win.Comment

So what is the problem with 147 against PBF? Hatton weights that after he hydrates for jrWW fights anyway. Its not like PBF is gonna rehydrate to 157lbs or 162lbs.
Hatton can train the same as if it is a jrWW fight with the only exception being that he doesn't dry out for the weigh-in.Comment

They should (but won't) fight at 140. Floyd could easy make it (with Hatton's weight issues, it might even be an advatage); they can declare that both titles (Ring version) are on the line; and if Floyd wins he becomes the first man in history to LEGITIMATELY win World titles in four weight classes.
Never happen, but I'd dig it.Comment

Mayweather on Delahoya fight night: 149
Weight is ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS in this fight. Either both guys will equally have to make 140, or 147.
So, I'm with Tha Horseman. Just make the fight at 147 for Floyd's WBC belt. And Ricky would be smart to make it at 147 so that he can still hang on to his little 140 trinket after he gets his pink Limey ass scorched.Comment
