I'm relieved that there are some who talk sense.

The ones saying Hatton will be outboxed, knocked out like Gatti and won't win a single round are probably the same who said Lacy would dominate and destroy Calzaghe...

I'm not one who's saying he'll be Gatti'd or wont win a round. Mayweather can lose a few of the first rounds, and a round or two elsewhere.. But.. Can you honesty say Hatton.. a guy who has been a little above average since his fight with Tszyu, is going to be the guy to beat Hatton in 6 or more rounds? I'm not comfortable saying that, not at all, really.

              The DLH fight was worthless.

Floyd has great skills from basically growing up in the gym but when it comes to having that something extra to be a great champion, he just doesn't have it. He showed it in the Castillo rematch and he showed it here. And it's not about being slick defensively.

Ali and Ray Leonard were both slick 'pretty boy' boxers who hated to get hit...but does anyone imagine in similar situations them not trying to seal the deal and close strong vs a 34 year old partially retired fighter?

Hatton has that will and heart of champion. Floyd seems like he is in it purely just for the money. He was probably crying when he beat Gatti because he knew his salary would triple.

Hatton has come up big. In Championship fights against BIG-NAME opponents, he knocks them out. He seems more energetic and seems destined to win. He would put on a great performance against Floyd, in my opinion.

Well, the thing is... Hatton won't slow down like Judah, De La Hoya, Baldomir in the later rounds... and he's not an old man like the above and Mitchell, Bruseles, etc...

Hatton will win rounds on aggression and punches thrown - Floyd will be forced to fight and in a straight out fight Hatton has heart, work rate, variety of punches, handspeed and footspeed. Can you honestly say that after 9 rounds or so of Hatton hunting him down, working the body and wearing him down, that Floyd's defence is going to be as good as it is. Floyd on the ropes is vulnerable in the body area, IMO... and this is where Hatton works you.

Oscar basically lost because he was way too inactive and again failed the stamina test. When Oscar was still a fighter, he went tough 12 round bouts and rallied at the end like against Quartey and later against Vargas. However, he has been inactive for the past 4-5 years. he had no legs against Floyd and was visably tired.
