Losses to Manfredy, Robinson 2x, Ward, Baldomir and Gomez?

Losses to Mayweather and Delahoya are clearly understandable.

      Wins over... Who again?

Looking at the results of athletic competition is "nitpicking"? I respectfully disagree.

well saying "he beat nobody, hes a scrub who doesnt belong in the HOF" is indeed nitpicking. by that criteria you have to have a well-stocked resume to get in and there are plenty of HOFers who do not meet that criteria. seriously, look at some of the resumes of a few of those HOFers. there are a few that are quite unimpressive.

I guess I'm an internet warrior who feels qualifies to call a fighter "average". Even one who has displayed as much heart or guts as Gatti has.
(Except in the Mayweather fight where he stopped letting his hands go by round 2)

Actually, you will have a HARD time finding a HoFer who hasn't beaten another HopFer... or at least was VERY competitive with them.

You're welcome to prove me wrong.

pipino cuevas didnt beat or wasnt competative with any HOFers.

OK. Let's say that you consider the Mosleys, Delahoyas and Mayweather's as A fighters....agreed?

And the Castillo's, Corrales', Judahs are B+/A- fighters.

And the Manfredys are B fighters.

WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER GATTI TO BE?

a C fighter, which is what floyd called gatti, and which is how gatti fought against top opposition. i aint arguin that. i am sayin that u cant call him a scrub cuz he ALWAYS gave it his all, even when he was clearly outclassed, he never wanted to give up... i think that is worthy enough of not bein called a scrub, not HOF worthy, but worthy enough for respect, no?
