    Tyson was for years.

Not that 'P4P' means a lot.

Not anytime soon the lower weight divisions are just too good right now. And there's only about two or three good heavyweights.

i guess he could, but he would have to be a devastating and well skilled heavyweight ala tyson, lewis, holyfield.

Any boxer in any division could be pound for pound. To me, it's just a combination of your record and your opposition. If a heavyweight is in a strong division they could always dominate and become pound for pound king. You are especially likely to find yourself a pound for pound great if you beat the best out there in more than one weight-class. For instance, if a great heavyweight was only in a moderatley good division and beat all there was to beat, but then moved down to Light Heavyweight and dominated there...well...that makes his chances to be recognized pound for pound much better.

Tyson was considered P4P #1 for a while.

if wlad unified the titles, and knocked out the other champions (now that there are no real contenders left, only champions), yeah, i'd call him p4p #1.
