All of the top fighters are in that area and after receiving a decision against Collazo (Hatton may have actually won depending on how you judged the fight) he realized he could compete with the elite. I can name at least 5 fighters (Cotto,Margorito,Mayweather,Williams,Mosley......) That would kick his ass with ease. Hell I'm willing to bet that Mayorga would knock him the **** out. So why are you surprised that his people is trying to find him the easiest way out. Why do you think Floyd and De La Hoya are calling him out. Another Gatti? Get real man. You are talking about the lineal LWW champion. His UD win (on foriegn soil I might add) over Collazo was a win whether you like it or not. Regarding the thread, Hatton would knock Rees out within 3 rounds end of story. Regarding 147, he has a very good chance in fact of beating Mayweather or Cotto but not the others. They are naturally too big.
