That was just the WBC that changed it. They still had 15 rounders after Mancini-Kim. I don't think either Taylor or Bowe fought in any though.

The 12 or 15 round debate doesn't matter to me.

They need to change other things first, like the weigh-in procedures.

I don't think it should go back to 15 rounds. Guys get tired today by the 10th or 11th. Heavyweights might have hear attacks in 15 rounds. I could only see the lower weights going 15. Welterweight and below probably.

Because they're training and fighting at a pace for a 12 round fight. Your whole approach has to change if your expecting to go 15, I really think you need those 3 rounds.

Make it 13 rounds and that will solve some problems IMO. 15 is too much for the guys of now IMO.

It shouldn't be for the most elite fighters which are the only ones ever intended to fight 15 rounds.

Some heavyweights would pass out after 15 rounds. If someone gets hurt real bad again it will make boxing look even worse, and it would get tons of criticism for making it 15 again.

                  I highly agree.

15 rounds is a risk for my fighters, but hell if it means 3 more rounds of action then so be it.

Screw what I just said, it should be up to both camps to decide if the fight is 12 or 15. This way they can prevent injury.

I think the arguement of 15 rounds being too much for current boxers is an irrelevant point. As I said in an earlier post- going back to having more rounds will simply favor fighters that have more endurance, or push current fighters to train for three extra rounds. The elite boxers- the best in the world- will be able to handle more rounds. The biggest boxers of the past did-and our althetes will learn to as well. They'll just change their training regime or we'll see a new group of fighters replace those that can't handle 15 round fights.
