As far as that avatar, I'm sure Jackson knew what Floyd said. I believe Floyd apologized anyway. Floyd doesn't have to like that sport to be friends with Jackson.

I'm positive they both are friends and respect one another.

I thought some of Floyd's opponents were already "beat down" by Tsyzu?

It depends on what you define as convincing. I think thoroughly outboxing a guy for 12 rounds and winning 11 of 12 rounds is pretty damn convincing. Cotto has more power and took advantage of it to KO all 3 and Floyd was the far better boxer and won by and average of 118.5 to 109.3. Both are pretty convincing. Its kinda like comparing apples to oranges because of their different strengths.

            Bingo.

And let's not forget about defensive numbers. I bet you if you added up all the statistics, a lot less punches were landed on Floyd than on Cotto in all the fights where they fought the same oppnonents. But like this dude said...apples and oranges. It seemed like the original poster was trying to get people to believe that just because Cotto KO'd more people recently, that it's more decisive. Wrong.

How the hell is knocking someone out as equally decisive as running away from them and winning defensive "shutouts"? That's ridiculous.

Floyd did not run in any of those 3 fights.

lol and pigs fly also. All he did against Sosa was run while Sosa was swinging. Have you seen that fight?

Yes I've seen the fight and I didn't see the same running you saw, Floyd fighting style in the Sosa fight was very similar to the Judah fight, so that's not running. He brawled with ChopChop the whole fight.

For those of you arguing that Mayweather has shut these fighters out, well maybe you should consider that Cotto probably lost about the same amount of rounds against those fighters than Floyd did.
