IF Hatton can walk through an amazing beating for 4 or 5 rounds, it could turn out to be a great fight.

But if Hatton wins the fight, or even a few rounds, it wont be a good fight. Hatton will be struggling so hard to get on the side, there will be a lot of holding and hitting, lots of dirty tactics by Hatton.

Can't wait. If saint Bernard can do it, why not Ricky?

I know that unlike Hatton's other opponents, Floyd will be prepared for it. You could tell that Castillo & Tsyzu just had the mindset that they were stronger then everyone else so Hatton couldnt do that to them and if he tried then he would get killed. It backfired on them but Floyd isnt that dumb. I bet he will be sparring with guys fighting nearly the same exact way except they will be MW's which will have him more then prepared

I think it all depends on the opponent. It sucks if the other guy cant do anything but it becomes a great match if a guy can neturalize it. Collazo let Hatton do it alot but he also neturalzied it way more then any other fighter and thats why he did so well. If Floyd can do that then he's straight and it will be an exciting fight. The problem is that Collazo is huge and a Southpaw so its probally easier for him to do it then Floyd

But nobody really fights like Hatton. And Hatton can keep that pace up for 12 rounds, he has insane stamina when he comes into the ring in top shape.

Hatton brings his best game to his biggest fights, and bascially made 2 faded hall of famers swallow there massive pride and egos, and quit the fight.

This is how i see the early rounds going.

Hatton will and should just sprint across the ring and go right at it. And try to get into some clinches early, and try to wrestly mayweather backwards into the ropes. Mayweather fights off the ropes very well, and he's hard to hit.

BUT, Hatton wont need to land anything flush for a couple of rounds. He can just just smash the arms and try to the body.

Cause The only way Hatton wins, is if he closes the gap enough by the mid to late rounds, so he can start really pulling off body shots.

Unfortunetly, i see Mayweather putting such a beating on Hatton in the first 4 or 5 rounds, that Hatton wont survive. Hatton is good at clinching sometimes, but other times he's to hasty and just jumps in from a mile away with a clinch.

Mayweather will obviously catch him doing that every time.

However, Hatton has balls and hes one tough dude, if manages to get out of the first 4 or 5 rounds alive, and managed to get some sloppy work done, the gap could be small enough for him to do some serious work the body.

If i predict right now, id say Mayweather by 6th round TKO

I hope so. There's two great, GREAT fights for boxing. Especially since Cotto would have to get another big win before it can get made, hopefully against Mosley but possibly Margarito...

Why do people keep ****ing on about the weight? They both came in on fight night at similar weights for the De La Hoya and Castillo fights.

They will weigh close to the same for the fight itself. 140 or 147 - It's irrelivant and it will NOT be a factor in whether the fight is made or not. Hatton has said for about 2 years now that he will fight Mayweather at 147 if necessary.
