Ex-Boxer Shot In Smoking Row
By Sky News SkyNews - A former British heavyweight boxing champion is seriously ill in hospital after being shot when he asked three men to stop smoking.
James Oyebola, 47, was shot in the face when he asked the men at a London nightspot to observe the smoking ban.
One of the men pulled a gun at the Chateau 6 club in Fulham Road, in the southwest of the capital, and shot him in the head and leg.
Oyebola is in a critical condition after being gunned down in a courtyard at the rear of the venue.
He was taken to a west London hospital, where police said he was in a critical condition.
Officers were called to the club just before 1am.
Three men, only described as black, were spotted running away from the scene.
Oyebola, a bouncer, had stepped in to help staff try to persuade the men not to smoke.
The shooting is being investigated by detectives from Operation Trident, which examines crime within black communities.

haha, i ****ing hate conspiracy theories - there is no way the government would want guns in this country, it harms their reelection chances to have this sort of crime on the increase.
It's a shame after operation trident seemed to get off to a good start that the wheels have well and truly come off the carriage.Comment

haha Mickey - I removed MTV base from my sky at home so I didn't even have to skip over it when surfing.
I'm ****ing old and middle class now, but when I get on the bus (in Wolverhampton, nevermind London), all I hear is young men of all racial backgrounds rapping along to songs about guns, violence, money and derogatory treatment of women. It's sad that the American rap culture has taken over, I struggle to see that it has any redeeming features.Comment

I think the problem resides in school, if you aint doing well in education you wont really go that far up the ladder.(however hard work does pay off) so they look up to the Jamaican 'Yardies' and seem to think they can rule anyone with force and intimidation.Yea i saw that show. What a load of bull****.
