      Duran twice?

Jones' record is not even close. He has a great win over Toney and another over Hopkins. Ruiz doesn't really register for me. I'm not particularly impressed by fast fighters (And they don't come quicker than Roy) moving up and fighting the most pedestrian bigger men, running and sniping and winning a points decision.
It is very notable how many people wanted to fight Maskaev but not any more respected heavyweights.

If Roy had retired after the Ruiz fight, it might be a little closer, but Leonard would still get the nod.

Roy Jones Jr is my favorite active fighter, but Ray Leonard has the better credentials as far as legacy because of all the great fighters he faced and beat. I agree with Ace Rockolla, if RJ had retired after the Ruiz fight, it would have been better for his legacy.

I'd like to have EITHER of their legacies...
