Winky Should Be Calling Out Calzaghe

would be a bad choice for winky, calzage throws combinations from differente angles. Wright needs a fight against a ****** fighter which tries too land only big single punches like trinidad. He could beat abraham ( but not in germany). He needs a title for another big fight. Maybe he could take on the winner of baldomir vs. forrest which would be an easy fight for him

Winky should be fine back at a lower weight. To fight someone as wily as Hopkins who he cannot hurt was a tough call. The fact that he didn't carry the weight well means he was on a hiding to nothing.
I think Calzaghe is the wrong fight for him as well.
If he goes back to light middle he might be able to tempt Floyd or one of the other top welters up for a payday.
Taylor won't face him again and now has a good excuse to avoid him.

Winky wouldnt have a chance if he fought like his last fight with bhop with Cal.
Would just be the same outcome. Winky would just cover up and stand there while Cal would fire away at Winky just like Bhop did but Cal would fire about 5-6 more shots and move out of range befor any counter. Cal would be to big and fast for Winky.

Winky should think about retiring, he got beat by a 42 year old man, feather fisted and ive never seen a entertaining fight from him ether

If Winky struggled against Hopkins due to his size, why on earth would he fare any better against calzaghe. The guy walks around at cruiserweight!!!

Calzaghe can't fight someone coming of a loss like that. Winky need to try and get a fight with Kelly Pavlik, Arthur Abraham, or a rematch with Taylor.

if he is willing to fight guys like manfredo he most definitely should and could fight Winky.

during the fight i was thinking winky would be a good fight for calzaghe but then i was thinking that the weight would be a factor and the location. i know winky doesn't care where he fights, but the thing is there is no way he would get a fair shake on the cards over there. it just wouldn't happen.

but i think the size factor is the main thing in this fight, winky isnt at his best physically above 160.

but style wise it would be a good fight. there would be tons of action.

As far as the weight for Winky.Cal is would have to be a catch weight. Joe would have to lose something. Cant put all the work on Wink. Wink is the bigger name. Fought better opponents.

Dont forget Joe wont have the advantage of being SP. It'll be SP vs. SP. Who has Joe fought that was SP?

I know its easier to be ignorant, but if you check an atlas (that's a big book full of maps) you'll find that London is in England. Joe Calzaghe is from Wales - that's a different country. I'd say its quite easy for him to be unbiased.
