Bhop.Cal prolly wont happen for a number of reasons. One side or another will price his self out. Joe wont come to Yankee stadium cuz hes a fraidy cat of getting krunked on US soil and finally getting exposed...and Bhop wont go to the UK cuz he knows he'll lose on the cards.
That leaves Winky. This is how Joe works: Its either old washed up guys like Eubanks....young prospects ala 20-0 type guys...or some guy w/**** resume like Bika...losing to Soliman.

Winky is old and just lost, but still has a name and draw. I think Wink will beat Joe easy.

This fight should be made. If Joe wins it only looks good on his resume.
    typical american ignorance.

honestly calzaghe can only be beaten by age and weight draining....
How can you say that though when he hasnt proven it? If a good fighter fights a bum or a rookie in every fight then everyone will look great. You have to fight someone elite and it would be good if he left out his backyard for once. Dont say that its the same for Americans because its not. Even in America 90% of the fights have the crowd divided and alot of times there against you. Winky had the crowd against Hopkins last night. If you fight Joe its like the whole Country is against you and that makes it way easier for a fighter

Didnt work for Mosely...your saying Joe is better than Mosely? Mosely, a guy thats faced champ after champ after champ.

How can you be so high on someone w/out seeing them fight the best? He hasnt fought anybody. I was talkin to a old gym buddy yesterday...4-5 time national GG ams champ and he says the same thing. Alot of people that have been in the sport say it as well. We're all wrong?

hes no better, but at that weight class hes comparably as fast and bigger than winky....im not saying hell beat winky but he sure has the style and physical tool to outpoint him, even if he gets hit with better shots than the ones hes landing...

and you can see talent a mile away, calzaghe is possibbly th most gifted fighter right now in terms of natural hability...

I'm known w/discovering talent amongst my boys. I saw the talent in Williams 3.5 years ago when he was unknown to 90% of the game. Quillin too.

Dont git my wrong...Joe is good and obviously has talent. You dont git to where he is being total ****. I just think his talent isnt what people think it is. Its only been against b-level guys. You can call him King Of The B's and I wont argue that ever!

I used to **** on less talented guys in the ams from my neck of the woods...does that mean what your saying for Joe? No...cuz when I git in w/the big guys I dont look as nice.

Its all who you fight and Joe aint fought anyone that can give him true clout. I ask Joe fans whos the best name on his resume...they say Eubanks...Lacy 2nd & Shekia 3rd. Sheika was always b-level...Eubanks was washed and Lacy was a unimpressive green prospect. What else is notable on his resume?

Pretty much 100% correct. Didn't Calzaghe just fight Peter Manfredo Jr. in his last fight?

I like to watch Calzaghe fight because he has an exciting style. I just want to see him put his skills to the test. I'm glad he's fighting Kessler and hopefully he'll move onto even bigger things after that and come to the states.

                  1) Is Kessler a young, inexperienced champion or an old has-been champion who everyone has been clamouring for Joe to fight?
                  2) Should undefeated Joe fight Jermain Taylor (moving up after not really impressing at middleweight), old, old B'hop or just lost Winky? Which of these fights will people not dismiss?
                  3) Who has Joe turned down when being offered a fight? Did I miss something? Who should he have fought?

I am NOT a fan of Joe. I respect him and will now generally watch his fights if I don't have to pay but that's it.
Who SHOULD he have fought? He's not moved from super-middle. He has faced mandetories so how is he different from B'hop (who I respect hugely) prior to his Tarver fight? B'hop's big name was RJJ whom he lost to early in his career. B'hop sat atop the middleweights and let whoever come for him. Trinidad took the bait, moved up in weight and got blasted.
                  How is Joe different?
Should he have waited and cherry-picked a heavier opponent whom he knew was too slow and would bring him more money? Keep buying those PPVs boys.
Roy-Ruiz, PBF-DLH, Everyone versus Maskaev were all farcical fights. Shame on the otherwise sterling Hopkins for trying to get on the Maskaev bandwagon.

I keep defending fighters that I am not that bothered about because partisan idiots keep throwing ****** arguments and double standards around.
Make sure your own favourites are clean before you start criticising others.
