I had a wide decision for Hopkins but with nine close rounds. One thing is for sure though: Hopkins won all of the rounds that weren't close.

No way. I scored it 8-4, but I could see 9-3 being more reasonable than 7-5. Winky wasn't himself at this weight and it showed big time.

It seemed like Lederman really didn't like watching Hopkins because of how many clinches Hopkins started.

            I scored it 7-4 with one even, 116 - 113.

Ignored most of the threads on Hopkins/Wright because I wanted to see the replay and judge it unbiased. I was damn surprised.

My first view of the fight and I had Hopkins barely winning even with Wright gassed at the end (115-114). I scored rounds 2 4 5 6 and 10 for Wink with round 8 even. While I was watching it I was like "this is going to look crazy on the final scorecard" I won't argue with the varied results, because the punching output of this fight could persuade or mislead. As always, Wink blocks a ton of **** that smacks loud on his gloves that you could swear were grenades going off, and I could see how Hopkins could've eaked out some close rounds with the flurries (smart). Wink was also hitting Hopkins solid a bunch and even looked to be manhandling him once or twice. That's amazing given the size disadvantage.

I also thought Wink's stamina held up pretty good. He wasn't absolutely positively done until the end of round 10 imo. Hops then closed the show.

I don't think Wink should be knocked down from his P4P spot. Especially considering I was expecting Bernard to roll over him. Since p4p is about taking away weight/size difference in gaging a match up, if all things were considered given their physical attributes, Wright is almost too much for Hopkins if they were the same size.

Well, that's my first perspective on this anyway. I'll look solely at Bernard on the next viewing to see if I change any rounds (I might have been missing the inside game). Since I knew Wink lost in advance, I committed rounds I thought he won to memory and tried to enjoy the fight in real time and just be a casual fan.

THIS FIGHT WASN'T BORING IN THE LEAST. I NEVER EXPECTED TO SEE WINK WALKING HOPS DOWN AND TAKING THE FIGHT TO HIM. I THOUGHT BERNARD WAS GOING TO WIN THIS BY STOPPAGE LEADING UP TO THE FIGHT.

This is probably the seventh time I've watched this fight. And it pretty much goes the same way. I can see Lederman scoring the fight the way he did. It was a hard fight to judge. But he needs to get a replacement soon.

yeah he does, same with the rest of the hbo crew, they're getting too complacent and too biased in their opinions, they should be more open minded and do less cheer leading.

as for lederman, he needs to go, his score cards are getting more and more out there. i would be more than happy to take his place, haha.
