    Emmanuel Steward is pretty harsh

He said that neither of these fighters can everfight fight a meaningful fight again and that they are just stepping stones now. Isn't it possible that the two of the most technical fighters in the game made each other look bad cause they are just that good.

Thats wierd because Steward has always said he really really respects Wright.

I don't think Hopkins looked terrible. Its hard to look good against Winky and it was hard for Winky to look good against Hops. Just a bad style match up like you said^

Eno, I thought about that as well but the fact is, both guys looked kinda bad - and I think it had more to do with Hops' age and Winky moving up.

Well Wright flat out wanted the payday which is why he took the fight. He's been claiming for years how hes been ducked and overall underappreciated.

Anyway, Wright at 160 is a monster. I could see him beating Pavlik.

I also believe Steward said he wanted to see them both just retire. Or at the very least avoid fighting each other again like the plague.

Steward has never thought much of Hopkins from what I have heard.

Here's the thing, both Hopkins and Wright are guys who have made their living in the ring making their opponents look bad.

Stewart can say what he wants. Fact is, Hopkins did what he couldn't train his fighter to do. Must suck, but it's true.
