there are a lot of people who support cowards and businessmen. there are many maywather fans even though he has ducked any real challenge the last 5 years. i see people talking about hatton. he is a good fighter who fights like a warrior but he also is afraid to fight the best. klitsko talks about unifying but all he fights are bums. he is another fighter afraid to fight the best. there are many examples of this.

when a true warrior like margarito takes a real challenge like paul williams he gets nothing but hate just because he lost. when you fight the best you cant win every fight. all of the best fighters to ever fight have losses because they were not afraid to fight the best. fighters like margarito should get more respect from the fans even if you dont like his style at least he tries to do what is best for the fans and that is make the best fights. margarito even said williams is a harder fight for him than cotto but he fought him anyway because he is not a coward or ducker.

I agree , though mayweather does more ducking and running inside the ring than out, I must say. Hatton... not a big field to duck ppl anyway.

i wathced the fight again yesterday and it pissed me off tony won the 1st round easy damn it just look to the fake boxing fans that williams was getting tony cause he threw so many punches and the compubox is full of **** williams only landed like 4 punches in thatround maybey three it said he landed 21 he didint even land a punch but toward the middle of the round then when tony landed he hugged him i know you know this already but paul was after a decision thats ****en weak for a man they call the punisher.............im ****en serious go watch the fight again closley and tony won the second,4th, 5th went either way i think but merchant gave that round to tony .........dude i only gave williams 5 rounds........tony was ****en plainly robbed if you arnt blind you need to watch the fight again............tonys defense was on fire and that first round was easily and through the rest of the fight...............MARGARITO WAS ROBBED ......................I CANT HELP IT............................... No. I understand what he is saying and while I don't agree with racism- I don't think he sounded racist at all. When he says he is starting to dislike Margarito fans he's saying what many people feel. The most rabid, nationalistic, emotional fans left in boxing are Mexicans. While its good for the sport to have a nationality like that loving boxing - some Margarito fans, for instance, abandon all logic and respect in favor of making absurd claims. They fail to back up their points, do not respond to posters who attempt to have intelligent conversations, and just repeat mantras of 'Marg is feared. Everyone is scared of Tony. He beat Paul UP'. None of which make sense - and the Margarito fans refuse to attempt to use any real logic...so most of us disregard them outright.

It just so happens that the fans of Margarito that use emotion over logic- love for their fighter over intelligence- do it because they are supporting their countryman and are Mexican. I've seen the same thing with Puerto Ricans and Cotto from time to time - though not to the same extent.

He isn't being racist by saying Margarito fans are annoying- it's a shame that to be a fan has so much to do with your nationality that he's called racist for saying something like that.

Tijuana Tornado (TT) I have one true question do you really think Margarito could beat the top guy at 147 or 154? and i not saying you have to look at it as you mexician buddy but just view him a fighter only with not nationality or identityand you have to only judge his boxing and fighting style to see if he could win.

a coward would have ducked williams and went straight to cotto. margarito is a true warrior.
