I respect Margarito for getting dominated by Paul Williams who has little power. Margarito did a nice job of catching over 200 punches with his face, and then whining like a ***** after losing.

Ermm im not sure Margarito would have an easier for with cotto than williams,

Here is a list of fighters who called out margarito

        Zab Judah
        Jose Antonio Rivera
        Ishe Smith
        Sharmba Mitchell

Apparently winky and ouma were willing to fight him to,

Margarito only respned to rivera in an open letter on his website, telling rivera to get in touch with arum.

Here are some proper warriors in boxing, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, Arturo Gatti, Oscar De La Hoya and James Toney. to name a few.

the thing about hatton was that he was scared to leave his country for a long time.
Ricky's second fight was at Madison Square Gardens, his 9th was in Atlantic City and his 20th was in Detroit. His eighth fight was in Germany. He's always stated that his dream was to headline the great fight places like MSG and the Vegas Strip, and he was more held back by his promoter than by any great sense of fear of travel.

I don't dislike Antonio Margarito but your nonsense has started to make me sympathise with the people that do.

when a true warrior like margarito takes a real challenge like paul williams he gets nothing but hate just because he lost. when you fight the best you cant win every fight. all of the best fighters to ever fight have losses because they were not afraid to fight the best. fighters like margarito should get more respect from the fans even if you dont like his style at least he tries to do what is best for the fans and that is make the best fights. margarito even said williams is a harder fight for him than cotto but he fought him anyway because he is not a coward or ducker.
Go down the local boxing gym and have go you piece of keyboard crap , saying a fighter will beat so and so or is better than so and so is one thing calling them cowards is another , people like you are the cowards mate , your a ****ing child with a pea sized heart , go and lace them on and try and vision giving somebody like ODH 12 pounds in weight and then fight him , your a ***wit !! Ive known personally a lot of fighters in my 50yrs and none of them were cowards .

I think some of you all are putting too much into this whole "warrior" title thing. Any professional fighter (one who fights for a living) is a warrior by definition. Get over it. I give Margarito props for facing Williams, but be serious. I heard in one post some dude acting like he gave williams "the chance of a lifetime!!!!" by fighting him. So listen closely....Williams was his mandatory. If you actually read some of Antonio's interviews when the negotiations were taking place, he said out of his OWN MOUTH that he opted to take the fight with Williams because he defended it so long he didn't want to just give it up outside of the ring. He knew the draw of that fight was to unify the titles, so please.

Mosley gave Winky the chance of a lifetime. Patterson gave Sonny Liston the chance of a lifetime. Margo was making a mandatory defense. It was respectable right up until he started crying.

Give Tijuana Tornado some credit, he finally admitted that Margarito lost.

Good job Tijuana Tornado, I'm proud of you.

Wladimir has fought the best available boxers since 1999, he's never ducked anybody! Tell me, who else should he have fought, who was willing to fight him?

Samuel Peter was the toughest opponent available at the time, and Wlad fought him. Chris Byrd is not a "bum", far from it! Calvin Brock was considered by many to be the best non-titleholder at the time at 29-0, and Wlad voluntarily fought him. He could have chosen easier opponents but he didn't...

Some opponents such as Austin (who Wlad was forced to fight because he was the mandatory) were not considered bums until Wlad made them look bad. He is willing to fight anyone now too...but there's no one available who would have a good chance of beating him.
