why do cowards have so many fans on boxing scene??

Samuel Peter was the toughest opponent available at the time, and Wlad fought him. Chris Byrd is not a "bum", far from it! Calvin Brock was considered by many to be the best non-titleholder at the time at 29-0, and Wlad voluntarily fought him. He could have chosen easier opponents but he didn't...

Some opponents such as Austin (who Wlad was forced to fight because he was the mandatory) were not considered bums until Wlad made them look bad. He is willing to fight anyone now too...but there's no one available who would have a good chance of beating him.

there are a lot of people who support cowards and businessmen. there are many maywather fans even though he has ducked any real challenge the last 5 years. i see people talking about hatton. he is a good fighter who fights like a warrior but he also is afraid to fight the best. klitsko talks about unifying but all he fights are bums. he is another fighter afraid to fight the best. there are many examples of this.

when a true warrior like margarito takes a real challenge like paul williams he gets nothing but hate just because he lost. when you fight the best you cant win every fight. all of the best fighters to ever fight have losses because they were not afraid to fight the best. fighters like margarito should get more respect from the fans even if you dont like his style at least he tries to do what is best for the fans and that is make the best fights. margarito even said williams is a harder fight for him than cotto but he fought him anyway because he is not a coward or ducker.

Why do so many boxing fans like a fighter because of something that has nothing to do with how they fight? I don't like boxers because they fight anyone. If Margarito is a tough bastard who took on Williams and lost...then fights another tough fighter, and another- and loses both of those..well..what is he? A tough fighter with too little skill to beat top guys. Sad but true. I'll give a boxer a nod of the head for their choice in opposition but I only become a fan based on what they do IN the ring. Mayweather always shows amazing skill- you just may not like his style. Same with a fighter like Winky Wright. Truth be told, Margarito is a tough warrior who looked slow against Clottey and not top shelf material against Williams. So why do rough flaw laden boxers have some many fans here?

To be honest, from the posts i've read all this supposed "hate" your talking about doesn't get directed at Margarito but more his deluded nuthugger fans like yourself.
You have created this delusional fantasy world full of machsimo bull**** where you call all these other fighters cowards to make it easier for you to accept the fact that you idolise a fighter with limited skills.
Grow up, accept the fact that this is professional boxing, not some car park brawl, and boxers don't fight everyone who calls them out and most of the time it has **** all to do with ducking an opponent or because they're scared, but in most cases to further their career with an equal or better opponent or at the very least one that will lead to a bigger fight for them.
