My point exactly. Everybody knew Tarver beat Jones even the first time. Even still if you're going by the record book rather than your own eyes, getting bested 2 out of 3 times by a former crackhead doesn't make you look like one of the greatest of all time...........

Kid...listen to my words. RJj won twice as many rounds. It was not a close fight. I've seen it about 4-5x.

The only idiot contesting it is you.
I happen to think it was you. I don't need your ****in' karma. The fact of the matter is, I think it wasn't THAT far away a fight for Jones. And if you think I'm the onyl one who thinks that, you're ****in' ******ed. Liek I've said.. even if you win all 12 rounds, it doesn't mean it wasn't close. You TECHNICALLY could have won acouple fo rounds, and squeeked out a lot of close ones, depending on who's style you like more. Don't act like you're the only one with a ****in' opinion. Jesus. I've watched the fight, too. Now.. I don't need to use avatars or pictures to get my point across, TWICE.. So, I'll just move on. You have a good day.

so many people tend to forget everything Roy accomplished.. then he moves down from heavyweight really drained but pulls off a victory.. then gets caught with a lucky shot.. then was gunshy his next 2 fights.. what??? I think because he was so dominating people thought he should always be that way.. bah.. people on here annoy me.. thats why a few and im sure many more to come will be added to the ignore list

Roy was a great fighter, I don't think he's a nobody, or that he fought nodboies.. He just isn't in my top 10 or even.. 15.. of all time, likehe is for so many other people..

and for all of you idiots saying hopkins wasn't green, roy jones was getting slapped out by his dad fighting amateur fights and learning technical skills (he later forgot) while hopkins was serving time in prison re-learning how to box on an oversized blanket vs convicts. i don't care what his record was, he wasn't even close to being in the same league as far as experience goes when he fought roy. now you ****riders are saying "after the fight hopkins switched his style" lol yea? how'd he look vs joe lipsey?? when he RETIRED that man. 20 title defenses, fighting every and anyone, winning the tournament, being the only man to KO trinidad and DLH, having the balls unlike rjj to fight taylor when he knew he couldn't make 160 properly, that's bernard.

rjj is a **** talker, he demanded 70 percent of the purse vs both hopkins and trinidad, deliberately pricing himself out of those fights. he beat toney, he beat hopkins, great, but he did NOTHING at 175, and i find it comical hopkins just wiped out tarver (somebody rjj could NEVER beat) and is now fighting wright, and rjj is fighting hanshaw and ducking glen johnson. that sums it up completely. rjj has no chin, no heart, and no balls. more talent then hopkins? definitely. but he's nowhere near the same fighter as hopkins because he doesn't have anything on the inside.

if hopkins fought at 147 he'd fight williams, if rjj fought at 147 he'd be calling out hatton and trying to convince the world castillo still has something life and wanting to fight him, that's the difference. anybody who thinks otherwise can shut their mouths and face facts.

and 1 last thing mcnulty, claiming rjj beat hopkins with just a jab, WOW, if it was that easy for him he should've pressed and took him out, instead he danced and played it cautious because he's soft...hopkins would destroy roy jones anytime in the last 5-6 years, and would mop the floor with him now, WHICH IS WHY RJJ REFUSED TO FIGHT HIM AND HOPKINS IF FIGHTING WRIGHT...there's a dose of reality for the boxingscene 5-0
