I hate no fighter. There are some i would be less found of being Wladimir one of them. I do hate his nuthugging fans who take him for superman. He dominates and is the best no doubt but people often don't mention his size advantages. I'll explain: if you fight in WW or any limited weight class you can trade power for size sort to speak. If you are very tall, you don't have much power and if you have power you work have a big reach advantage. In HW you can have both the reach advantage and a superpowerful one-punch-KO left jab?!
Other than i think he's definitely the best out of Europe together with Lewis. But if he wasn't freakish tall would he beat Chagaev? or Byrd? or Sultan? Brewster he would have beat anyway. But i don't think he deserves all the credit people give him. If they create a SUPERHeavyweight division i doubt Wlad would be the champion given enough 6.2 ft tall fighters where in there. Valuev can definitely take Klitschko out. Valuev jab hits even harder than Klitschko and he all know about Wlad's chin.

I dont hate Vlad but I agree w/previous poster. Vlad isnt that special. Yes, hes improved...alot. But if Vlad was 6'2"...he never woulda held a belt.

Lets be honest and not top-runner...Vlads advantages have gotten him to the top.

Valuev will give him a big run...mayhap get the W. If Vlad can KO Valuev, then I'm sold. Until then...theres unanswered questions.

So you bash on Wlad because he's tall? It's clear that Wlad has a height advantage over damn near all possible oppenents, why does that even need to be stated? It's a known fact. Would he have a more difficult time with Valuev then he did with Byrd, of course he would. This would be just because of the height, does Valuev's height make him a world beater, clearly not. He's slow, lumbering, you make him around Wlads height and he is a Kevin McBride clone. Did Valuev beat Chagaev even though he had almost a foot height advantage? No.

Also, I'd be willing to bet damn near anything that Wlad's jab is just as strong if not stronger then Valuev.

You clearly don't as the second post is the only reason W. Klit. got brought up.

Well, they don't have a SUPERheavyweight division but what the hell does that change? All the fighters that you're thinking about (would love to know who they are) are in HW division today, along with Wlad. But I don't see anybody calling him out, do you?

Valuev could pick an easier opponent than Virchis, I see Valuev losing for the second consecutive fight. I understand he wants a title, any title, but there are easier comeback fights than Vladimir.

                    Correct!

I've never seen Virchis fight, but I've seen Valuev fight and can almost with certainty predict Virchis as the winner.

if Mayweather wasn't fast, if Tyson didn't have his power, if Brewster didn't have his chin....

                      what's with the ifs?

Height is a natural gift advantage, just like power, speed, etc. and Wlad was blessed with it and uses it along with his other skills to win (Speed, power, hand-eye coordination, etc)

Being tall is not enough, actually being as tall as Wlad it's a disadvantage.... come on.. most people over 6'5 SUCK!
They can't get their body to coordinate with their head!
