I forgot to say that he should figh Mosley next, that win would give him the status he craves in the boxing world.

Hatton is the deserving man. This is the ruler of the light-welterweight division vs the ruler of 4 other weight divisions.

Two fighters in their prime, undefeated, it's a superfight.

Mosley vs Mayweather will be good - but Mosley is NOT in his prime.
Cotto vs Mayweather will be good - but i believe Hatton brings more to the table in terms of credibility

huh?? cotto would be a WAY better fight than hatton. hatton is not an elite fighter. he's a very well conditioned brawler/wrestler.

I'm a huge fan of Cotto, but to say he has beaten anybody of the calibre of Tszyu is laughable.

Judah is his best win, who has had his arse handed to him to Mayweather and Baldomir in the fights before... Therefore - Hatton is the more credible fighter having beaten a higher level of opposition. That is likely to change in the future if Cotto continues his progress, but as it stands, Hatton is more deserving, IMO.

Cotto is bigger than Hatton so as it stands, Cotto will beat Hatton down, but if Hatton were to have a fight to grow into Welterweight, he stands a better chance of probably outboxing him and certainly outworking him. He has to avoid those wrecking ball hands of Cotto though or Ricky will get mashed up.

the tszyu that hatton beat was an old tszyu, not shot though, so hatton did real well against him, but if tszyu was a few years younger, forget it. tszyu didnt have the conditioning (or hunger) to take all that wrangling and wrestling, cotto does.

i want him to fight cotto so badly. hatton means nothing to his legacy. the fight would happen at 147 where ricky woud lose badly and then will blame the weight. cotto-floyd must happen and it must happen soon!!
