When I think of superfights, I think of Ali-Frazier, Leonard-Hearns, Leonard-Duran, Hagler-Hearns, Hagler-Leonard, DLH-Trinidad, Tyson-Lewis, DLH-Mayweather, etc. I don't think Calzaghe-Kessler will ever be mentioned along these great, much anticipated fights.
Calzaghe is a protected fighter who has over 40 fights and 20 title defenses, yet has faced only one current world champion in his career. Many people have him P4P, even though he has one of the worst resumes of any current world champion.
Kessler holds two titles, but really has no big names on his resume. Seems like a solid fighter, but it's clear Calzaghe will be the toughest test of his career by far.
Is this really a superfight?
