It would be interesting but Williams will need at least one more elite name on his resume before would consider fighting him. Floyd is going to wait to see who's left between the top WW's once they fight each other.

      I know...

Mayweather Vs. Williams is like having Mayweather fight Taylor who punches non stop.

      Mayweather is what, 5'8?

Hatton is way faster than Williams (and throws a ton of punches too), this automatically makes the Mayweather fight more interesting.

Also Hatton stopped Zoo and Castillo, he is bringing 10x ca$h to the table.

I want to point out that I never said Williams would beat Mayweather. If anybody can find the part where I said that I'd love to see it. I'm just saying that with Williams' height and the sheer amount of punches he throws, coupled with mayweather's defensive prowess and counterpunching ability, it'd be an amazing tactical fight to watch.

I think Cotto would be a tougher match for Williams because Cotto could get inside and destroy his body. You can clearly see that he doesn't take an accumulation of body shots well and Cotto is better that Marg at going to the body. I think Floyd would have problems because of Williams style. Floyd likes to stand outside and box and Williams reach would cause him problems. Floyd is not going to come inside the way Marg or Cotto will and he throws one punch at a time. He would be on the end of Williams jab all nigt if he tried to stay outside. I think his size and reach are a huge advantage. Im not comparing the three of them but styles make fights and I think Cotto has a beter style to fight Williams than Floyd does. Williams looked huge against Margarito, and Marg is a big welter. Imagine how much of a size difference there would be if he fought Floyd. It won't matter because Floyd and his people would side step that fight at all costs.

Yeah I'm pretty positive he's 5'8". I think technically it'd be the most amazing match that could be made today, I just doubt it happens but it's still an interesting matchup to talk about.

I however would like to go on the record by saying that if Mayweather fights Williams, he can kiss that undefeated record of his goodbye!

I think Mosley will give Mayweather the most competative fight...
Cotto / Hatton would be a great brawl.. but I don't see Hatton lasting.. Cotto is way too powerful

Williams should fight at Supper-Middleweight and leave the little guys alone

That's a possibility as well that I can see occuring. If Williams can manage to get a win over Cotto, and possibly Mosley, Mayweather would have no choice but to fight him unless of course he "retires" again after fighting Hatton. Which I'd probably too if Williams was gunning for me!
