I'd rather see Mayweather/Williams. I know that Paul is still pretty "green" and hasn't got the experience needed yet to fight someone as elite as Mayweather but I find myself more excited about a possible clash in the future than I do Mayweather/Hatton. I would love to see how Floyd would showcase his defense against a guy who throws 100+ punches per round. Am I the only one?

I really don't see it happening either but the thought of it alone gives me a mental ******.Comment

Williams is to green?
I think as of where he stands right now, he beats Mayweather, strictly on size and the punch output alone.Last edited by !! Mr. Soprano; 07-17-2007, 02:25 PM.Comment

The fight will never happen for that alone. Floyds people know his size is to much for him and I don't hink Floyd can get close to him. Floyds people know it would be to big of a risk and they will side step him at all costs.Comment

I put green in quotes obviously because a lot of his nay sayers around here are saying that a win over Margarito is not enough to warrant him a match against Mayweather. Matthysse and Margarito, while good wins are not all that impressive. However what is impressive is the way Williams can still manage to throw 150 ****ing punches in the 12th round.Comment

he aint throwin that many punches against floyd, its called countering, margarito doesnt know what it means, floyd is a master at it, dont compare the 2. williams is a tough kid no doubt, and he would give floyd some trouble, but not enough to come close to a win.Comment

I think it would be a bad match up for mayweather, I mean hes only 5,8 and williams will pressure floyd alot more than oscar did, and if he could take flush shots from margarito, who is a slow puncher but throws hard loopying haymakers, and when they land there powerful, but I still think floyd will edge out a decision some how.Comment
