**** Arum "no williams vs. cotto"

When asked who he wanted to fight next, Williams said: “I’ll fight [Miguel] Cotto, let’s sign the papers.” Which promoted the WBA welterweight champ’s promoter Bob Arum, who also promotes Margarito, to say: “Cotto’s not fighting Williams. Williams did not win this fight in my opinion.”

Immediately after the fight, Arum said a rematch between Margarito and Williams is in order, adding that he was thinking about Shane Mosley as the next opponent for Cotto. However, at the post-fight press conference, Arum said he would not abandon Margarito, and is still considering the former WBO titlist as an opponent for the popular Puerto Rican.

I dont' like the Cotto - Williams match. Wiliams would use his reach and 100+ punches per round to win a UD against the small-framed Cotto.

Mosley, on the other hand, is a good fight for Miguel and will present a challenge with someone he can actually fight with. Margarito would've been a great fight because of his style, and the same goes for Mosley.

But Cotto should stay away from Williams. I just don't think it's a good matchup for him. The real reason he shouldn't fight him is becuase he has bigger possible matches with Mosley or possibly DLH. Marg lost flat out. How come Marg didn't give Clottey a rematch? Williams won and a possible rematch would only happen with Cintron concerning Marg.

Damn, he's obviously afraid for Cotto to claim Margarito won that fight. That fight wasn't even close.

Yeah that's BS to say he thought Marg won the fight. He won 3 or 4 rounds max.
