i am not gonna argue with that
    its true

the guy has no jab to speak of
and his defense consists of letting people hit him while he throws those looping shots

    fun to watch though

Paul was hugging Margarito alot dumb ref gave him like 20 warnings and no deduction even so I think Margarito was going to lose. He gameplan was to get Paul tire and take over the 2nd half of the fights MArgarito look fatigue about 8 or 9 round

I am giving credit to Wliiams, he deserved the win. Margarito lost fair and square. What I did not like is, when a boxer clinches despite repeated warnings from the ref. The ref warned Williams at least four times.

williams clinches like 1 percent of what hatton does and you get on him? maybe if he was british that would be a cool brawling style!

I thought he was blocking some of them. Thats why Williams threw over 1000 punches but only connected with 23%. I had it 116-112 for Williams.

Margarito did block a lot of them but he also got hit with a lot of them. The reason he didnt go down is because those jabs were weak. They looked like he was just flicking him. I had it 115-113 pwill

well if Paul was clinching why didnt Margarito hit him with bodypunchs that is the only close chance he get on hitting williams and he should have used it pretty well

Williams did out throw Margarito but he missed 80% of the shots. Tony was parrying them off, that's why he was grinning. Look at Margaritos face, no damage was done, and that's 1000 punches were talking about. The judges get fooled by the work rate. Was it effective, no. Margarito was effective when he landed. Scoring is based on effective aggressiveness. Yeah it was a close fight, but regardless of the scores Margarito got the better of Williams. He cut him and kicked his ass in the 11th round. Williams was hanging on by a thread. I'd pay for a rematch.
