Margarito had a pretty good bruise under he left eye.

Paul Williams face wasn't swollen, he just had a cut.

Yes, he's a good fighter, but that doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot in this sport. At some point, you need to develop skill, and Margarito never did. He's no different than Ricardo Mayorga to me. Incredible chin + wide looping punches will give you some W's when you can overwhelm the guy but not against top tier opposition, which is why Margarito has avoided it this long. He wanted to cash out against Mayweather and instead got whooped by his mandatory. I am satisfied.

Nah, Margarito is that type of fighter. He thinks if he does more damage to Williams in one round than Williams does to him in 3 that he's really up two points instead of being down two. Typical hardheaded fighter with little to no skill. If this guy didn't have such a good chin, he wouldn't have made it half as far as he has.

i could agree with all that
but the fact that his chin is crazy good

gives him a chance vs any welter

                    agreed?

of course he has a chance. he's blessed with his physical attributes, but he hasn't learned anything to become a good fighter. he can thank his parents for his whole career for blessing him with certain genes.
