So is fighting DLH a prerequisite for fighting Mayweather. Or even simpler, how many guys did Zab fight that were on the level of DLH? Same question with Bruselles?? Mitchel? N'Dou??
The Chavez fight was in 1994, the Margarito fight was 6 YEARS LATER.

Why shouldn't he get paid as much as he can for what he does? Margarito is a no-name non-draw.....

I think Margarito had already signed to fight Clottey around that time.

Margarito didn't even headline his own fight...

I'm well aware of mayweathers hand history. Bottom line, It was not broken. Margarito was "easy work." He chose not to take a summer PPV for 8mil. Remember, If it makes dollars it makes sense.

Margarito NOT headlining his own fight is no vindication for Mayweather. We're gonna have to lay down the criteria for nailing a fight with Floyd because he's kinda all over the place with the excuses...

De La Hoya at 34 is probably better than Margarito ever will be. DLH is better now. Margarito didn't deserve a shot at Floyd. He beat a few average fighters, cab drivers, and very old fighters, and he deserves a shot at Mayweather? I don't think so. Mosley and Cotto have better resumes than Margarito. Only those 2 could really challenge Floyd.

Why not?? He shpwed him the money. Who has Mosley beat recently to be considered? Mayweather would destroy Mosley. Cotto v Mayweather would be agood one. DLH would get destroyed by Tony. They were sparring partners and it appears that Tony got the better of DLH. http://www.*************.com/news/stories/149135656.php

At 154 DLH would whoop Margarito's ass. Cotto would whoop his ass at 147, and Mosley would destroy him at 147.

                  Ok... Lets break it down.

DLH is a businessman. His last meaningful win was against Vargas. That was 5 years ago!! Mayorga was a BS win. Tony destroys DLH at this point of his career. DLH is soft and rich. he's more businessman than boxer. He represents a payday at this point of his career. He's at a point where he can pick and choose who he fights.

Cotto/Margarito is a great fight. I think Tony wins this because Cotto has been dropped by smaller guys who dont have the same output and power as Tony.

Mosley... Where do I begin?? Hasnt had a decent win since 03 DLH, and that was questionable. Since then he's beaten Vargas twice. Vargas is shot. David Estrada(YES, Mosely fought on the undercard of Cintron/Margarito), Cruz and Collazo are all b and c class fighters. he turned down Margarito after they both won on that ESPN card a few years back. Mosely knew what time it was...

Ahh? Where's your proof to validate your denials and excuses?

Here's my proof and Fake Floyd's own words.

                    Now get owned.
