It may seem strange but I think Donaire's KO of Darchinyan was more surprising than Mijares' UD. While I definitely didn't pick either to win on that given night, I definitely saw the potential that either Arce or Darchinyan could be outboxed by a guy with skills and a chin but neither of them had yet faced that opponent. Frankly I thought Donaire would get up early and eventually be worn down and KO'd. Even if I thought Donaire was going to win it would be by decision since Darchinyan had never even been KD in his career to date. Couple the fact that he was KO'd at all with how brutal the KO was and it was one of the more shocking outcomes that I have seen in recent memory.

Easily IMO it is more shocking that Donaire KOed Vic......Arce and Vic both can be outboxed from time to time I am quite sure of that.....but that was a devastating KO and very unexpected if you ask me.

            OVERRATED !
Thats what I kept telling people about Vic.
Donaire showed class and respect with his humiliating one punch KO of the supposed superman of the flyweight div during his post fight interview congratulating Vic and thanking him. Vic just stood there with a look of disgust and all he had to say was "will you fight me again" ?

Bigger Upset , definitely Donaire's KO win over Darchinyan (Many thought
Nonito would not last a round).

But very surprising was Arce being schooled by Mijares.
I guess Mijares was just a cut above the skills of Arce, who
is a slam**** slugger who couldn't adjust to the boxing know-how of his opponent (reminiscent of El Terrible out-boxing Pacman in their first meeting)
