Is the HW Division a Joke?

The discrediting of the heavyweight division is not all about race, although there's a couple of very vocal racists on this website, such as DiegoFuego. There's another thread that reveals the reason for most peoples' discrediting of certain boxers. Read the similar whining in the thread about Alcine's victory over Simms...

Now Alcine and Simms are both black, but the reason for that attitude is...can you guess? It's the same reason for most peoples' negative attitude toward Eurasian boxers...

The US will never again have dominance in the heavyweight division until you learn to be good sports...your fighters will never improve until you realize that foreign fighters are not winning because of bad judges and lack of opposition etc....they're taking titles away from your fighters because they're good.

as far as this topic goes in terms of race, i notice certain white posters, the same ones, tend to make the topic that way. "oh they are just jealous of a white champion" etc. Making the topic turn into complete crap and into an argument that will never have a resolution since certain posters agenda goes far beyond boxing.

The fault lies with all the participants here. Don't go blaming whitey yet again; I think you need to practice some introspection, my brother.

The white posters who cry about this are annoying, as are some of the black posters whose criticisms of white championship fighters are very thinly-veiled expressions of racial resentment. We're all guilty in here.

Even if someone has a hidden thinly veiled agenda, unless they say it, i cant just assume that. There are a ****load of anti floyd threads, but i dont see it as anti-black bias, if i did that, id be just a racialist looking for a fight. Its when certain posters, usually white start accusing people of being jealous of a white champion is when the thread takes this turn. Im more objective than you think.

Granted yes, i have seen some black posters bring up race, in particular FloydFan, but for the most part you dont see a whole lot of that, if i see that **** i say something just as i have with the white posters. In particular about half a year ago i used to see alot of anti-white **** from bigtime9 and i got him just as well, i wont stand for a racial argument unless its legit or has something to contribute.

great post...I think most of the time, the posters are mainly knocking PBF/CAlzaghe/Wlad/Zab...to name a few, becasue of THEM, or their fans, that speak to highly of them...tha'ts my thoughts
