Is the HW Division a Joke?

i'd have to disagree with that. tyson had great head movement, great accuracy, and was just too good for the klits. tyson would have gotten to wlad, and it would not have been a good thing. vitali would have lasted longer, but still would have succumbed to what we know as prime tyson.

tyson did struggle with big heavyweights and wlad would have been by far the most the most skilled and hardest punching off all of them that tyson fought with the exception of lewis who smeared the canvas with little mike a shot version of him anyway. tyson may have caught him first though

Either one of you ) you / Styickman ) could be right, or wrong in your assumptions, many times I have been baffled/confused about the totally unexpected results from fights. Think of this...Quarry vs Ali, is like Brewster vs Wlad this past Sat..
Now Quarry wa made for Ali, but look at others. Ali struggled, as many did, with Shavers, whereas Quarry beat him like no other champ could, including Tyson, in ONE rd....this is also logical, it seems to me= Frazier went 15 rds with Ali in 71= UD....Joe gets KO'd in TWO by Foreman, so the logical conclusion is " look what Foreman did to Frazier= Ali's dead "...Ali KOd Foreman...Ali also had a tough time with Norton, and AGAIN, Foreman Ko'd him also easily as he did with Joe. Quarry beat Lyle as well as George did.Styles make fights, and if Wlad were intimidated by Mike= then you are right...Vitali?? Lewis?? I don't think they would be intimidated....but who knows. I met tyson in Atlantic city, and at that time, he was talkative and nice to me, but he is only about 5'9"....and as great of an inside fighter as he was...Lewis and Wlad at 6'6...and Vitali even taller, is awfully dificult to land head shots on I personally would like to have seen Tyson at his best, VS FRAZIER at HIS best..it has also been said that tyson feared Foreman, but I cannot confirm that

I respect Vitaly, but I'm sorry his little sister Wlad is a freaking joke. Wlad couldn't have hacked it as Holmes' SPARRING PARTNER let alone belonging in the ring with him. Compared to Holmes Wlad is a two-bit club fighter.

Yeah. It's funny that those same people who say that the HW division is **** are probably the ones who got their American HW kicked bad.

The reality of boxing in HW division right now are the Russians.

the hw division is decent right now but not great like in the old days. there are very few skilled fighters right now and no fighter even close to the level of tyson who was the baddest man on the planet.

even lewis was a better fighter than both the klitschkos. vitali fought the fight of his life against lewis who was totally out of shape. lewis was training to fight kurt johnson that little fat ass and didnt take him seriously. then they put vitali as the last minute replacement and lennox was out of shape. he still was doing enough to win the fight. these fighters today are decent but not that great.
