    2) Brewster was paid to take a dive

truth: Lamon is an honorable man - a good Christian man who wouldn't take a dive

    3) Brewster has an eye injury

truth: according to himself, Lamon's eye injury was completely healed months ago! Brewster says he's 100% healthy and his doctor agrees...

    4) Brewster is past his prime

truth: Brewster is younger than many top ranked heavyweights, and 11 years younger than Holyfield and five years younger than Maskaev. He's only a couple of years older than Wlad...

    5) The fight with Lyakhovich finished Brewster

truth: Lyakhovich doesn't hit nearly as hard as Wlad (only 13 KOs), he's the Malignaggi of the heavyweight division (jab and back up style) and is incapable of doing permanent damage to anyone! Most heavyweights have been hit for 12 rounds by much stronger heavyweights than Serguei - for example, Wlad in his battle with the powerful Sam Peter...

    6) Brewster was suffering from ring rust because he was off for a year.

truth: Lyakhovich was off for longer, a year and a half, before fighting Brewster! Brewster says he's had some top sparring partners and he's as well prepared as he can be... I wish the Wlad haters would have as much class as Lamon and not make excuses...

The truth that some people don't want to accept is: Wladimir Klitschko is a top level heavyweight!

Truth is you're a ****tard. Truth is being shot and being past his prime is the same thing but I bet you didn't know that did ya?

Truth is james toney is a defensive master no matter how hard peter punches and brewster is not. Brewster can only take so much punishment before beint shot.

And finally....truth is....brewster has been beaten up in every fight during his WBO title reign and now he has had a LONG LAYOFF which I don't think did him any good even though he needed it....that's what the haters are really gonna say and it's the truth....but...Wlad needed to avenge this loss to move on with his career and he will and then it's on to bigger and better things

    IF NOT AND HE LOSSES

he is in the same boat as Hasim Rahman who is supposed to be a better fighter the Oleg Maskaev but got knocked out AGAIN after several years.

Well Vlad wasnt better the 1st time was he?

      Regardless,

      I LIKE VLAD!!!

      GAHAHA

Never said I didnt like him now did I?

I just think Brewsters got his hands full and hes selling himself short. He should have had a tune-up 1st...hes making a mistake.

Its not excuses...its reality. Hes making a bad decision in fighting Vlad for his comeback fight.

It could be said that what you and a few others are doing is actually goading with this constant stream of whining. There's a few of us who have not bought Klitschko's act yet and think he's a lot to to prove and that doesn't make us biased, it makes us objective.

Go and take a break Mr insecure.

hey McNulity how about you go get some comprehension skills son. I didn't compare lamon and rahman, I compared Wlad klitschko and rahman in terms of rahman losing twice to oleg maskaev and the possibility of Wlad losing to brewster for the second time.

            Comprehension skills please...unbelivable

              anyway...

Good win for Klit. Full credit. His jab was effective and stopped everything Lamon tried to execute. Klit prolly could have K'd Lamon any time he wanted. When he threw combos it got to Brewster.

Like I said in a post or so above Lamon should have taken a tune-up. Merhant said the same thing...15 months is a long time.

Wlad looked solid BUT there can be a case that Brew and Buddy came in with a backdoor exit in mind; the conversation in the corner indicated as much. That said, Wlad is better now than he was in 2004 and is looking VERY good these days. He's one win (the Chag-Ibra winner) from being the True and undiputable champ at heavy belts or no belts. Can't ask for more than that.

Here is what Wlad should do...

He will not get a unification fight in his next fight..so meanwhile...he should go after another guy he is familiar with, Corrie Sanders who also knocked him out in even better fashion then brewster did.

Corrie sanders is still around and he has been calling Wlad out so why not do it and avenge that loss as well. Lennox Lewis avenged all his losses and Wlad should to (well he can't bring Ross Purity from the dead) the same.
It's a stay busy (still dangerous) fight but it's worth it.

Then he should be two fights from unifying all the belts. With Peter/Maskaev coming up, Peter should win and he wants a rematch with Wlad and the other two russians are getting ready to unify the WBO and WBA belts.

Wlad should fight winner of Ibragimov and the other Russian guy (can't remember his name off the top) who defeated Valuev then go after Samuel Peter who should be his toughest challenge.

                    The Russians vs. The Russians...

                    I wanna see Klit.Valuev next...giants going to war...classic...

I heard Sanders is winding down...not sure how bad or how true. If he is shot, which he very well may...what would it prove?

Hate me if one will BUT Wlad should fight Evander to kill time. Evander is a better opponent than Rahman, he can make a bit extra because they could PPV it (and not waste valuable HBO budget funds that can go to better fights), and he gets increased US mainstream exposure.
