Secondsout has a new story on this and I can say from what I'm hearing around that the story is pretty accurate. C'mon...how ****** would anyone be to believe that Team Calzaghe would ever risk a Kessler payday for a Dawson fight that would be equally dangerous and pay 1/3 as much. Anyone who would let their fighter do that outside a mando situation should be fired.

Agreed. I think Dawson is more dangerous than Kessler also. From Dawson's side, what interest is there in taking on a potentially very embarrasing fight with Calzaghe when you can make your name against Tarver and Briggs?

There's no evidence yet that Dawson is more dangerous or vice-versa; that's why I love this weight range. When the Middles and Supermiddles work out their issues; Dawson should be standing at the end of the rainbow as Marvin Hagler to all the name smaller guys (an imperfect analogy of course).
