he doesn't get any exposure or notoriety here in the states, so asking what do American's think about him is kind of pointless, the only people that know him in the states is hardcore to mediocre fans(still very few). as far as getting any US support i doubt that any promoter will do any work with him after his comments about 9-11-01. after that i don't think anyone will give him any kind of anything over here in the USA, that would be the first thing brought up about him. even if he was king **** and the top dog of his division, he'd get shut down like a restaurant caught serving rat turds in their salads....................Comment

mundine is a good fighter, nobody can claim otherwise..
people tend to shout ottke, whenever mundines name i mentioned..
i would as of now rate mundine as a top 5 smw.. kessler and calzaghe on top, after there is, in no particular order bute, mundine and lacy..
he is world class, but just lacks that extra, that would elevate him to the TOP..
another thing i might add, is that mundine, at this point doesnt have the luxury of losing again.. kess, joe, lacy and bute, between them have 1 loss, they could lose, and climb back to the top, without people losing to much interest.. mundine on the other hand has, as i recall 3-4 losses.?? one more loss, and wil for good be out of the picture..Comment

He's a top 5 guy @ 168. He is very slick and athletic. With some good fight sheduling he could make alot of money cleaning up #6 contenders and below at SM and then he's going to have to try Kessler again. His career will be defined on if he can win the big one at SM (Kessler, Calzaghe, etc.)

Mundine was kicking his butt in that fight!!! He was ****ed when sven got him!!! This was a his 1st world title fight and his 11 bout!!! Do well against a world class fighter after only ten fights is impressive in its self!!!
Mundine has a big mouth but doesnt everyone now???
He knocked Sam soliman out and Winky couldnt even faze him!!!Comment

Can't agree with you more. I think hes looking for a fight with Winky in the near future and i think Mundine will UD or Ko him. Also i feel Mundine has the ability to beat Kessler this time around. With Calzaghe i think Mundine is a definite. I am more worried about Kessler, but after watching Andrade go 12 with him, i think Mundine could UD Kessler.
He needs to start taking the big fights.Comment

Dude, Calzaghe isn't as great as you think. I have watched his last 10 fights and he has been nothing special. He fights bums most of the time. Other than Lacy, he hasn't fought anyone that great.
Kessler is the best out there at the moment. On his night, i will say again, on his night Mundine could beat both Kessler or Calzaghe. Its a mental thing with him, he has the skills to do it, if he fights like he did against Green he will have to much for Calzaghe.
Mundine is faster than Calzaghe and will fight from the outside which Joe will struggle with.Comment
