Mundine is not the same fighter he was when he was fighting Manny siaca and Ottke. He has improved truckloads. Im convinced hes yet to hit his peak, and will within this 18 months like Johnny lewis said on radio. Calling him average is pretty poor in boxing knowledge. He has skill, speed and power, and would be a force in middleweight, hes number 3 in SMW. No average boxer is rated number 3 in a division.

P.S if you believe that kessler was injured when they fought, well can i have the money growing on the trees? no boxer takes a fight injured, to much at stake. He was probably injured before the fight and said that to make his win sound better. If you know boxing, no matter of the opponent, boxers will not take a fight injured, tarnishes their reputation and puts their career in jeopardy.

ive seen kessler, soliman and green.. and thats the improvement-period im talking about.. and again his stamina, defence and work rate wasnt a problem agaisnt kessler..

it might be the case soliman was ranked 3, but thats just pissing in the face of all the quality fighters, who were and is miles ahead of soliman, that ranking is simply a joke..!!! i could from the top of my head name 10 fighters in smw that would beat the **** out if him.. even green ;-)

im not claiming that all ring rankings are ****ed, but a guy who gets 2 chances to beat beyer, and doesnt pull it of, he isnt nr 3 or 4, that should be common consensus..

shutting out any fighter is impressive mate, thats not what im saying.. green could be ranked 15 th and a shut out would still be good.. but green is ages away from his prime, hasnt beaten any note worthy opponent in a while, so again the fight and win is by me rated from average - good..

soliman is hardly a world beater, i dont know the exact record of soliman, but for all i know he could have fought bums, he is a guy most known for going the distance with winky, winning a couple of rounds.. piss all you want, mundine beat him once, did it again and all of a sudden this is extraordinary.. as said before the win ranks from average - good..

eventhough mundine has a fair amount of reflexes and is quick on his feet, a guy afraid of being hit, just doesnt stand infront of perhaps the strongest smw.. even if it was showboating..
Like it or not. Mundines performances against Green and Soliman, were impressive to the boxing world. Just look at the articles posted on numerous boxing sites. He is ranked number 3 in SMW. Could be a champion at middlweight, and is a talented and improving boxer.

chicogreco you have some argument. But it depends on the way you look at it. Im a more positive guy, and looks at his improvements.

impressive is for me simply put, just the wrong word, it should be solid..

but i guess a shut out and a ko on any level will impress somebody..

ultimam boxer, of course i have some pointers, im far from a mndine hater, you havent heard me discredit him, with comments like ottke, siaca and so on..

i would actually as a kessler fan gain, from talking mundine up, because this would make kesslers win look even more impressive..

        mundine vs green/soliman solid wins

kessler vs mundine in mundine backyard very good win

mundine is ofcourse amongst the elite at smw,no one will argue you there.. what he has yet to prove, is when taking a step up on competition, that he is more competitive.. he lost by a wide ud at home agaisnt kessler, and at home he should have made it just a little more close..

ill give you a list of fighters he should take a swing at to further prove his spot as a real contender.. lace when back from injry, inkin still undefeated after 30 + fightes, bute a good prospect, carl froch, or trying to get a real belt, by fighting berrio who is holding the ibf..

that would boost mundines name and solidify him as a top dog.. as of now, he is a guy who stepped up a couple of times, but couldnt do it.. just missing out..
