Whether he resorted to childish name-calling or not, he was right. Peter is real heavy handed, but not quite in the same class as Klitchko. Wlad is the biggest puncher in the division currently, without exception. Peter is in the same class as Tyson and Mercer. Klitchko is in the same class as Foreman and Shavers. If punching were an I.Q. test, Klitchko would be getting a monthly copy of Mensa Magazine. Top 1/10th of 1%.

You're right on both counts, there, Crold. Americans quite naturally identify with, and therefore embrace someone of their own nationality who's doing very well, as does any nationality. Wlad is pretty much a national hero in the Ukraine, Im willing to bet.

And no, Brewster definitely aint it.

Pardon the blasphemy, Stick, but Wlad would blow out either of these two in their prime.

Shavers...certainly. Foreman? I don't know. I believe Wlad would stand a good chance of beating Ali in his prime, and maybe Foreman. It all depends on what Foreman showed up to the fight. If the one who tried to pound Ali for 8 rounds before gassing himself so badly that my daughter could KO him showed up, yep, I agree.

What I meant by being in their class, was that Wlad has the same type of wicked, frightening one-punch-KO power as Shavers and Foreman...the world's elite. He's a far better boxer than either of them were.

Young Foreman would rip Klit up but Shavers would have a tough time not getting hit first. If he did, short night.

I dont know man. even tho foreman was a great he was only 217-220 lbs and wlad klit is a giant. thgose guys never faced huge men with skills back then. not saying foreman wouldnt chop him down but you just never know with that size difference and wlad would obviously be facing foreman with a hell of a lot more respect then he had with purrity/brew/sanders

I really don't care who the champion is after this fight? I just wanna see a good display of fighting. So what if all the heavyweight belts are held by Russians or whatever. Who gives a ****. Boxing is about fighters trying to become champions no matter the race or where you from. It just bothers me the way that people are so shallow in making this fight a race and country issue. Thats not what boxing is about.

It's hard to compare fighters across thirty years and even perceived as blasphemous to predict the current guy over the older champ. Foreman was a great champ, but he wouldn't be 'Big George' if he fought today, and his technique was far from perfect.

Brewster - the whore media's latest Great Black Hope - rather GREAT BLACK DOPE.

Remember how we were been treated by the whore US media - the likes of little bug-eyed Maxie - for all these years with talk like this in reverse? Suddenly they don't want to hear it now, do they?

Brewster - the latest Great Black Dope!

                    Revenge is sweet!

ok, america, lets all cry and ***** and moan like we americans like to do and pray that one of us will be a HW champion. you know the rule: boxing sux if we dont have an american HW champion. we need an american HW champion. cuz we all know the american HWs are exciting, humble, honest, hard working, and disciplined. boxing will die if we dont have an american HW champion! if we get an american HW champion, all of boxing problems will be solved.

lets look at our possible saviors:

shannon briggs: just lost, now retired.
calvin brock: a banker with no outstanding boxing traits to speak of.
john the bum ruiz: not even gonna say it...
chris byrd: no longer a HW.
hasim rahman: the very picture of unreliable, inconsistant, and lazy.
                      tony thompson: who?
                      eddie chambers: who?
oliver mccall: hits hard, good chin, but hes not gonna win it.
chris arreola: fun to watch, but hes not going to amount to much.
james toney: not even gonna say it...
tye fields: yes, lets rely on the 6'9", white as *******, no talent basketball player to save us... next.

yes, america. we have a great number of fighters we can rely on to save us from the former-soviet fighters (the soviet union has been nonexistant for over 15 years, why are we still talking about it?)

we oh so need an american HW champion because (you know the rule) boxing sux if we dont have an american HW champion.
