Exactly. AT THE VERY LEAST Jones has fought elites the likes of Hopkins.

It's a big plus he beat them although losing isn't a big minus.

Fake Floyd has ducked just about every elite boxer in his climb to gaining the titles.

1) Roy Jones was never caught or ("tested positive") for THG because he was taking an undetectable steroid. There was no test for THG.

3) I read that Roy Jones did NOT test positive for ANDRO. Roy Jones tested postitive for NANDROLONE. Nandro is a hardcore, illegal steroid. VERY different than Andro.

I respect your opinion. And you seem like a cool poster but until you can show me legitimate information(sources)for these two claims I can't respect them as facts. I read on ESPN.com(I can show you the link if you want) that it was Andro that Roy tested positive for. I consider ESPN a trustable source, but others have disagreed with me on that.

I had seen that ESB article. I know that many people feel that ESPN is a more trustable source, but that's only because of the brand name.

If the ESPN article was written by Dan Rafael or Brian Kenny, then I believe it. Those guys cover boxing closely. If it was another ESPN writer, then he just consolidated it from another source.

I respect the fact that you will give guys the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER....

Tim Montgomery was suspended without ever testing positive.

Sammy Sosa is PERCEIVED as a steroid user with ZERO evidence: not mentioned in canseco's book, never tested positive, still in the league and still hitting homers, denied using steroids before Congress (which McGwire did not), not implicated in BALCO or any other lab.

Marion Jones is perceived as a steroid user despite never testing positive.

Why are THOSE guys generally acknowledged as juicers, but Roy is not? Help me here.

floyd may be a weak pressence and a weak dude for takin easy fights and talkin **** about fighters who actually took that 'step' up in class...but he's right, he retired undefeated. (retired undefeated and scared ****tless of any fighter that wasnt old or at their end.)
