Wow time has flown. I did not know Roy was 38. I thought it must of been around the 35 range. Time to hang 'em up, Roy.

RJJ has beaten so many upper echelon fighters. David Telesco, Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Clinton Woods,Merqui Sosa,Thulani Malinga(one of the best middleweights of all time),Vinnie Pazienza, Richard Hall,Julio Cesar Gonzalez,Virgil Hill, Badi Ajamu, John ruiz, Reggie Johnson, Mike Mcallum, Montell Griffin, and I think that's it. Some of those fighters weren't big overrated names lke PBF but they were exceptional fighters.

        You sure he fought Malinga???

Most of the guys you mentioned never hit it big time. Griffin was a one hit wonder and he smacked Roy around. Reggie Johnson was a tough guy. Badi Ajamu was garbage. Hill has to be one of the most overated fighters of this decade. 18+ defenses against a bunch of bums. De****able. Telesco and Sosa were J-men.

                cool pic in ur sig.

But Floyd speaks the truth!!!!! But it shows a lack of character. Hes basically saying the only reason he retired is because hes afraid he'll get knocked out.

Maybe thats just cause i hate Roy Jones... or not hate him but definetly dont like him...

PBF got mental issues and he needs to say this for his head. I thought he was better than that but he's losing points w/me saying this b/s.

He'll never be as good or as brave as RJj and will always be eclipsed by SRR as well. I didnt like it when he compared himself to SRR either. Its ******. I mean, when does the PR stop? Where are the boundries Floyd?

Oscar nailed it on the head in a pre fight interview about 24/7 where he was asked if he learned anything new or different about Floyd. DLH said that its still the same brat kid Floyd as before or some ****. He nailed it and it visibly hurt Floyd who was visible on the panel.
If you have this months ring magazine he says something about roy jones along the lines about how great he thought he is, but how he ended up the way he was because he wasnt a pure boxer and his reflexes caught up with him. I honestly dont think he believes half the **** he says, i also think that when someone like floyd who feels he has accomplished so much and berated by media and fans alike, i think after awhile you began to attack those people feel are superior towards you. I dont think its easy on his end mentally to constantly read about how much eveyrone hates him, when in his mind he feels he is much greater. I

dont think he has handled being in the spotlight too well mostly because he may feel no matter what he does it doesnt please anyone. I really do think he cares alot about what people think boxingwise otherwise he wouldnt bother saying **** like that.

I dont know if Id go that far, Roy had plenty of fights along the way that left you scratching your head, you know alot of fights that lacked REAL action.

Eric Harding, Bernard Hopkins, Montel Griffin.. Roy had his share of stinkers too.

Floyd is just at a weight where he cant compete p4p on a physical level which currently is the HAtton's, the Margaritos, the Cottos advantage over him, make no mistake they are stronger fighters all of them, they just arent half as skilled...will it catch up to Lil Floyd?

                      I dont know.

BTW-HAtton is no cake walk style wise for Floyd....just so you no.
